DEFINITIONS

  • “SNAPUP” means Startron Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd.. a company registered under The Companies Act, 1956 having its Registered Office at 5TH, HD-139, We work DLF Two Horizon Centre, Golf Course Road, DLF PHASE 5 SECTOR 43, Gurugram, Haryana, 122002 India and engaged in the business of trading, manufacturing, selling & distribution of consumer electronic products under the brand name SnapUp and any other products launched by SnapUp from time to time.
  • “Customer” means any person, individual, body corporate or other legal entity whether incorporated or not and identified in Proposal / Quotation and / or Invoice of Startron Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd.. and residing in the territorial limits of the Union of India.
  • “Contract” means a contract for sale by SnapUp to a Customer of any Product(s)and / or services incorporating these terms and conditions.
  • “Order Confirmation” means formal acceptance by SnapUp of any order for Product(s) placed by a Customer.
  • “Price” means the price as per Startron Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd.. Proposal Quotation and / or Order Confirmation where precedence will be given to the latter.
  • “Product(s)” mean any part(s) and / or Product(s), Device(s) as described in the Order Confirmation and may include SnapUp – Branded Product(s), Other Non-SnapUp Third Party Product(s) and Service Offerings.
  • “Service Offering(s)” mean the various service options offered by SnapUp for SnapUp – Branded Product(s) or any part of them and for varying periods, as described in SnapUp’s published literature, including but not limited to SnapUp’s Invoice and / or SnapUp’s Service Description.
  • “Third Party Product(s)” mean Product(s) and / or services of brands other than “SnapUp”.
  • “Eligible Repairs” mean repair of any product(s) which have not been tampered and / or handled by any unauthorized personnel.
  • “Service Centre” means a SnapUp service center and/or any Service Centre authorized by SnapUp (authorized service partner) on this behalf and as listed on the website under “List of Service Centers”.
  • “Installation” means Installation (or setup) of any Software (including Operating Systems, Drivers, Plug-ins, Telephone for Cellular networks application Software, etc.) is the act of putting the software onto a Telephone for Cellular networks so that it can be executed.
  • “Carry-in warranty” means Customer brings the Product(s) to any SnapUp Service Centre or any service center duly authorized by SnapUp and collects the same after the repair/ service.

GENERAL

  • Warranty on all “SnapUp” products is governed by the “SnapUp Warranty Terms and Conditions” specified on https://Snapup.life in force at the time of availing any service and/ or support. Such Warranty Terms and Conditions are liable to change from time to time without any notice to Customers. Any product not covered under the above terms, will be deemed to be outside the purview of warranty and accordingly service and support will be on chargeable basis only.
  • The Customer shall not assign or otherwise transfer any Contracts or any of its rights and obligations hereunder whether in whole or in part without the prior
  • Written consent of SnapUp. Any such unauthorized assignment shall be deemed to be null and void vis-a-vis SnapUp.
  • If any provision or provisions of these Terms and Conditions are held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provisions in question shall not be affected thereby.
  • No Waiver. Any failure or delay on SnapUp ‘s part in exercising any power or right under this agreement does not amount as a waiver, or any single act or partial exercise of any power or right does not exclude any other or further exercise, or the exercise of any other rights or powers.

CONTRACT FORMATION

  • The Contract shall come into existence only on a Customer Order being executed by SnapUp. The Customer indemnifies that the buying is for self-use only and not for re- sale purposes.
  • The Product(s) sold and / or Services rendered are subject to these Terms and Conditions only and no other terms and conditions stipulated or referred to by Customer shall be entertained (except as contained in any Sales Invoice raised by Startron Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd.  The Customer acknowledges that they have read and are aware of the contents of and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. SnapUp’s acknowledgment of a purchase order or its failure to object to, varying, conflicting, or additional terms and conditions in a purchase order shall not be deemed an acceptance of such terms and conditions or a waiver of the terms and conditions hereof.

SOFTWARE

  • Any software(s) provided are subject to the terms and conditions of the license agreement relating to that software. Customers acknowledge their obligations to agree to such license agreements. Customers acknowledge that SnapUp does not warrant any software under these Terms and Conditions. All software is warranted according to the license agreement that governs its usage.
  • All rights, title or interest in respect of the intellectual property rights relating to software will always remain with the respective licensor of the software at all times.

PRODUCT(S) S ACCEPTANCE

  • Product(s) shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Customer as being in good condition and in accordance with the Contract unless SnapUp is notified in writing to the contrary with in Seven working days of purchase of the Product(s) except SnapUp official website portal sales where it is 15 days. The date of purchase will be included for calculating the above period.

PRODUCT(S) WARRANTY PERIOD AND TYPE

  • The Warranty period for different SnapUp products shall be as specified hereunder. The applicable warranty service type shall be “Carry In” only unless otherwise specified.

  • *Note: The charging cables supplied with the SnapUp products is not cover under any warranty
  • The warranty period starts from the date of the original purchase/Activation of the first end-user.
  • Subject to applicable national laws, the Original Warranty Period under no circumstances will be extended and / or renewed and / or otherwise affected due to subsequent re-sale, repair or replacement of the Product(s). However, in case of repaired and / or replaced part(s) the warranty period will be for the remaining period of the original Warranty Period.

Warranty Policy

  • All the STARTRON products are offered with a limited period warranty from the date of purchase. The period of warranty could be different for different products, for example, for Product after the purchase date, customer will get 365 day’s warranty. To know the period of warranty of a product, please see its copy of warranty (if provided) or @email care@startronlife.com for STARTRON accessories.
  • STARTRON reserves the right to change/modify the warranty policy with giving 15 days prior communication to our Channels
  • The STARTRON warranty is valid for the first purchaser of the STARTRON products only and is non- transferable and this warranty is only valid for India.
  • Limited warranty for 365 days for the Startron Smart watch neckband TWS starting from the date of purchase/invoice for the purpose of claiming warranty of the devices.
  • The warranty is limited only to the repair of defects or replacement of the defective part (unless specified differently for the specific product) & is at the sole discretion of STARTRON. STARTRON’s liability under this warranty shall be limited to repairs/replacement of parts, which are found to be defective.
  • Proof of purchase is required to be presented for availing warranty services.
  • Warranty is limited to the concerned product of STARTRON. Any consequential or ancillary damage caused to any other Product is not covered by the Warranty.
  • If damage is caused to the product, due to an attempt to repair the product by any unauthorized personal/ center, the warranty will stand null and void. STARTRON shall not be liable for reimbursements, claims and damages that may result from such unauthorized repair of the product.
  • In the event of repair/ replacement of any part of the product part, or the product itself, the warranty shall there after continue and remain in force only for the remaining period of the product warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair and in transit weather under the warranty or otherwise shall be include in the warranty periods.
  • A product may be replaced for a defect with a repaired/refurbished unit within the warranty period (after proper fault checking done by retailer / Service Centre only), replacement with a fresh unit will be given till Service Centre if functional in the territory.
  • Retailers need to inform within 24 hrs. if they have found any in transit defective stocks received in shipment for warranty claim.
  • STARTRON service team shall check 100% of the defectives received from Retails.
  • Warranty repairs shall be carried only by STARTRON’s customer service team authorized for the specific product.
  • The warranty does not cover demonstration, installation, normal wear & tear and to external accessories or add-ons, that do not form a part of the product.
  • Warranty shall be considered void in the following circumstances without discretion: Damages due to liquids/wet / moist,
  • Physical damage, Tampered, Burnt, Rusted, and Color faded
  • In case any accessories found Okay while testing by Startron service representative, Company has right to send the okay accessories without replacement and respective dealer/ retailer might have to bear the loss.
  • If any part of the product is replaced, Startron reserves the right to retain such parts replaced at its discretion.
  • Company is not liable for any physical & product damage while using our product is used with/for. The warranty is not applicable if defects or alleged defects are caused due to the use of the product, with or connected to a product, accessories, software and/or service not manufactured, supplied or authorized by Startron or used for a purchase other than for its intended use.
  • Decision of Startron will be final for any other circumstances that are contradictory or are not in compliance with business ethics.
  • Company is not liable for any delay, non-performance, failure or non- delivery of the products due to contingencies arising from any force majeure, acts of GOD, storm, earthquake, accident, strikes, lock-out, industrial dispute, labor trouble, transportation embargo, imminence or the existence of any state emergency, war, war like condition, civil commotion right, inability to obtain any material, refusal of license, approval or imposition of sanctions, any measures taken by government which renders it impossible or impractical for company to perform, supply, service or deliver the product to the customer.
  • Decision of Startron will be final for any other circumstances that are contradictory or are not in compliance with business ethics.
  • Company is not liable for any delay, non-performance, failure or non- delivery of the products due to contingencies arising from any force majeure, acts of GOD, storm, earthquake, accident, strikes, lock-out, industrial dispute, labor trouble, transportation embargo, imminence or the existence of any state emergency, war, war like condition, civil commotion right, inability to obtain any material, refusal of license, approval or imposition of sanctions, any measures taken by government which renders it impossible or impractical for company to perform, supply, service or deliver the product to the customer.

Replacement and Refund Policy

SnapUp will provide a replacement for a product if informed within 24 hours of delivery of the products and under the following conditions:

  • Wrong Product has been received
  • Damaged product has been received

Documentary evidence in the form of a photo or video is required from the customer.

Replacement can be made if the customer reports the same to our Customer Service team by calling at 011-41187999 (10:00 a.m to 6:00 pm/6 days a week), or write an email to care@startronlife.com.

Once the issue has been confirmed by the SnapUp Cares service team, SnapUp will initiate a Return pickup for the Replacement order and the customer will be responsible to ensure the faulty product is successfully picked up by the Reverse Courier Boy. Once the faulty product gets successfully picked up by our courier partner, SnapUp will then dispatch a fresh replacement unit.

A product purchased at SnapUp will not be eligible for a replacement if the customer is not happy with the look/sound quality of a defect-free product, physical damage or tampering caused by the user.

The policy is only valid if the concern is raised within 24hrs. of delivery. Further a customer is eligible for replacement only once, if the issue persists even with the replacement unit, they must visit the service center, unless the replacement product is absolutely defective on arrival.

Products purchased from the SnapUp website are not eligible for a refund.

If you believe that the packaging of your order has been tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to take delivery of the package and reach out to SnapUp Customer Service immediately.  SnapUp will dispatch a replacement after careful inspection and a photo proof at care@startronlife.com.

For Manufacturing/Functional Defects found within 7 days:

SnapUp will provide a replacement for a product in case of any manufacturing defect of the product under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is Defective on Arrival (DOA).
  • DOA cases will be entertained within 7 days from the Date of Receiving.
  • The customer informs about the manufacturing or functional defects within 7 days of receiving the SnapUp product to their nearest service centre.
  • The service centre team is convinced that the defect is genuine and not caused by the user

REPLACEMENT NOT VALID UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES

  • In case of physical damage, scratches on the product.
  • Products are waterlogged or tampered.
  • Accessories and Software related issues.
  • Accessories are missing.
  • Product box is damaged.
  • Serial no. of the product box and product mismatched.
  • Accident/neglect
  • Misuse
  • Abuse
  • Malicious destruction
  • Ordinary wear and tear
  • Acts of nature
  • The temporary or permanent affixing of any items supplied or not supplied by the manufacturer with any adhesive, fastener or the like.
  • Overcharging, use of batteries, power supplies or any other sources of power not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Any physical defect or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment caused not furnished or approved by SnapUp.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are not entertained for the orders placed/purchased through any offer or discount during special occasions.

Users can cancel their placed order until it has not been initiated for the shipment process.

Please note, the company reserves the right to cancel any prepaid or COD orders if we are unable to honor the same for any reason. In cases of prepaid cancellations, the customer will receive a refund within 3 working days.

Shipping Policy

  • Each order will be shipped only to a single destination address specified at the time of the payment for that order. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you shall do so by placing multiple orders.
  • We make our best efforts to ensure that each item in your order is shipped out within 24 hours of the order getting placed. However, in some cases, it takes longer, up to 5 or more working days, to ship the order as the product may have to be procured by the seller where there is a heavy demand.
  • In case the product ordered is out of stock, we will contact you within 2 business days and inform you of the options to either opt for another product of your choice, delay in procuring the same product or cancel the order based on your convenience.
  • Orders are shipped out on all weekdays (Monday to Saturday), excluding public holidays.
  • Please examine the product at the time of delivery, to verify if the packaging is tampered or damaged. If the product is not in the ideal condition, please refuse the collection of the package, and call our customer service number at 011-41187999 (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm), or write to us on care@startronlife.com mentioning your order reference number and details. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.
  • Please note, all the orders placed on the SnapUp website are shipped with an invoice. In case, inadvertently, if the same is not received, you may download the same by logging into the account section on the website (www.snapup.life) with the same email address used while making the purchase.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Without a valid Proof of Purchase, SnapUp reserves the rights to refuse warranty services.
  • SnapUp reserves the right to refuse ‘free of charge’ warranty claim if the information shared is incomplete/ illegible for the claim / fault in the Customer details.
  • This warranty is non-transferrable. This warranty shall be the purchaser’s sole remedy and neither SnapUp nor its service centres shall be liable for incidental or consequential damage or breach of any expressed or implied warranty of this product.
  • Repair or replacement under the terms of warranty does not provide right to extension or renewal of the warranty period.
  • Warranty repairs must be carried out by SnapUp authorized service centres only. Warranty cover will be void, if and when unauthorized service has been attempted by the user or any unauthorized service centre.
  • SnapUp may use rebuilt, reconditioned or refurbished parts and/or components when repairing or replacing a defective product.
  • In case of delivery destination being unavailable, shipping charges must be handled by the buyer.
  • SnapUp may use your contact information to inform you about new and better products and deals in the future.
  • Within/after the warranty claim requests raised by the customers; Brand has the rights to contact the customers regarding any communication about their warranty claims.

OUT OF WARRANTY PRODUCTS:
